This week on Jefferson Parish Pulse, we talk with Drew Mire, CEO of Computrols. Computrols is a Gretna-based tech company that designs, manufactures, installs and services building automation systems for iconic businesses and facilities across the world. This year, Computrols won a Louisiana Lantern Award, a prestigious recognition given to top performing manufacturers across the state. Computrols has been in the region since the 1980s and many of those years were spent in Jefferson Parish. IN 2018, JEDCO helped Computrols celebrate the grand opening of their headquarters and new manufacturing facility in Gretna, where the business continues to grow and thrive today. Kelsey Scram and Drew talked about how he worked his way through the company to become the CEO, what it means to love your work, and how a business in Gretna, LA landed one of the most high-profile buildings in America as a client.

The company is a privately held building automation manufacturer, installer, and service provider headquartered just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana. It was founded by Roy Lynch in 1983 and is currently owned by Roy Lynch, Kevin Lynch, and Mike Donlon.
