Welcome to Jefferson Parish Pulse

Welcome to the Jefferson Parish Pulse, a new business and economic development podcast created by JEDCO! With the launch of this podcast, we will be sharing important stories from our local innovators, business owners, community leaders and more who have helped to shape the vibrant Jefferson Parish economy, a community that has become a destination for business. This project has been in the works for quite some time and we are so excited to finally share a little teaser of what’s to come. We will be releasing episodes in Seasons – one episode a week – for a few months. Then, we’ll regroup, gather more interviews, and do it all again.

We are delighted to announce that Season 1 will feature the businesses that create many of the products people in our region and across the country use every day. In honor of National Manufacturing Week, our first season will focus on manufacturing.  We’ll talk with a variety of manufacturers as they share their Jefferson Parish success stories. You’ll hear about what works, what doesn’t, and why they’ve chosen to do business in JP.

In advance of those stories, we did a short interview with JEDCO President & CEO Jerry Bologna. He discusses the importance of having a robust manufacturing industry in our community and the role that JEDCO plays in supporting industry efforts.
