Angela Kercheval
Director of Business Development at MLC Works
Angela Kercheval has been in marketing and advertising for over 20 years. In January 2000 she started her career working for the Times Picayune where she eventually became a Director of Sales for both the Times Picayune and Nola.com. In 2019, Angela joined the team at MLCworks to lead the Business Development efforts of the agency. She has a passion for her clients, her employees and enjoys helping them achieve their business goals through marketing.
Angela has served on numerous boards throughout her career. She has served as Marketing Director for the French Quarter Business Association, An Advisory Board Member and Marketing Committee member for the St. Tammany Chamber, to name a few. In 2019 Angela was selected to join Leadership St. Tammany. Currently Angela serves on the Board of Bring It Home Northshore, a charity dedicated to supporting the children of our military troops!
Angela is from Bossier City where she lived until her college days at Louisiana Tech. It was after graduating, with a degree in Sociology, that she moved to New Orleans, started working and developed her love of all thing advertising. When she is not helping her clients at MLCworks, Angela loves to travel with her husband Chris. Whether it’s spending a weekend in wine country or going to a different city for a concert, Angela LOVES to venture out and learn about new places. You can also find her reading a good book or hanging with her two pups, Beau and Charlie!
Jennie Westerman Diemont
President & Chief Creative Officer of Deep Fried Advertising
An entrepreneur at heart, Jennie created Deep Fried in 2004 after obtaining a degree from the Annenberg School of Communications at the University of Pennsylvania. Her vision was to create an approachable space where talented creatives could craft beautiful, memorable and effective brand experiences that increase the profitability of their clients. Now nearing 17 years in business, Deep Fried has grown to a full-service agency that serves the needs of some of the best-known names in regional business. She and her team have worked with numerous clients to craft their brand stories, marketing strategies and online experiences, including Pontchartrain Conservancy, Tulane Doctors, JEDCO, Geocent, Hola Nola, RESTORE the Mississippi River Delta, and Jefferson Parish.
In 2018, Jennie was awarded the honor of Advertising Person of the Year for Agency Executive by the New Orleans Ad Club. She serves on the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce, and is the Vice President of the Alliance Française de la Nouvelle Orleans. Deep Fried is a certified woman-owned business and Jennie is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program.
Leigh D’Angelo
CEO and Co-Founder of Dig – The Dog Person’s Dating App and Tabby – The Cat Person’s Dating App
Leigh is the “implementer” and “hustler” of the Dig – The Dog Person’s Dating App and Tabby – The Cat Person’s Dating App founding team. Previously, Leigh worked as an investigative reporter for One Africa TV in Windhoek, Namibia, WSYR-TV in Syracuse NY, and WVUE-TV in New Orleans LA. Leigh was also the Southeast Regional Director for the Coastal Conservation Association of Louisiana from 2015- 2017. Leigh has her Master’s Degree from Tulane University in Homeland Security and Emergency Response Management, and she designed and taught a Master’s course in “Media, Terrorism and Disasters” to students at Tulane University as well as an Intro to Journalism course for undergraduate students. Leigh is getting her private pilot’s license and is an avid scuba diver. Originally from Boston MA, Leigh now lives in Gretna LA with her German Shorthaired Pointer Penny.
