Hurricane Francine Update for Jefferson Parish Businesses (September 12, 2024)

JEDCO has mobilized our emergency operations plan and activated our online resources to support local business in the aftermath of Hurricane Francine. Our staff is currently assessing damage and disruption to businesses in the area. The organization has created several resources to aid in business assessment and recovery.

Hurricane Francine Response Webpage: We encourage all businesses to visit the JEDCO Storm Center, which serves as our online emergency response portal for updated recovery resources, disaster assistance and storm information. If you have resources or information you’d like to see shared on the site, please email kscram@jedco.org. We will be updating this site with new information and resources as they become available.

Hurricane Francine Business Assessment Survey: Jefferson Parish businesses are encouraged to fill out the Hurricane Francine Business Assessment Form to help the JEDCO team respond to immediate needs. The Hurricane Francine Business Assessment Form also allows business owners to provide updated hours of operation, limited menus, or specific storm-related information that customers may need to know.

JEDCO remains a steadfast resource and partner for our local businesses. Our goal is to help bring all affected businesses back into commerce as quickly as possible.

The JEDCO offices are currently closed, but our team is working remotely to provide business support. Please email info@jedco.org or call 504-875-3908 to reach a JEDCO team member.
